V-Day is a global movement to stop violence against women and girls. V-Day is a catalyst that promotes creative events to increase awareness, raise money and revitalize the spirit of existing anti-violence organizations. Every year over 4200 events occur around the world! Click here to visit the V-Day website.
The Vagina Monologues, a part of the V-Day movement, is a play that occurs every February on Mizzou’s campus. Our Vagina Monologues are organized and performed by MU students, staff and faculty. The play raises awareness and funds for our beneficiaries; True North Shelter, MU Stop the Violence Fund and the L.E.A.D. Institute.
