Fall Emerging Leaders Retreat

Oct. 5–7, 2018

The Emerging Leaders Retreat is a two-and-a-half day retreat for first-year (including transfer) students that aims to develop students’ leadership skills and potential, team-building abilities and self-awareness. Students will be provided transportation to a space off-campus for an immersive experience. Prepare to have fun, connect with your peers and learn about yourself, your passions and how to make the Mizzou community a better place.

Students commit to attending a 1.5 hour orientation in September, the ENTIRE weekend retreat and a reunion during November. This is a great way for new students to explore their leadership potential and meet other first-year students interested in developing their skills.

Spring Global Emerging Leaders Retreat

April 5–7, 2018

The Global Emerging Leaders Retreat is a two-and-a-half day retreat in collaboration with the International Center for first-year (including transfer and international students during their first year at Mizzou) students that aims to develop students’ leadership skills and potential, team-building abilities, self-awareness and cultural competency skills. Students will be provided transportation to a space off-campus for an immersive experience. Prepare to have fun, connect with your peers and learn about yourself, your passions and how to interact and lead in a global community.

Students commit to attending a 1.5 hour orientation in March, the ENTIRE weekend retreat and a reunion during May. This is a great way for new students to explore their leadership potential and meet other first-year students interested in developing their skills.
